General Information

FIRST IMPRESSION:

Very polite and cordial towards those he meets. Is very protective of his friends and family, harboring a very strong sense of justice towards those who attempt to disturb the peace. Holds a lot of burden and reluctance in having to inflict pain on others, so he actively avoids conflict if possible by actively searching for the best possible solution that does not involve unnecessary bloodshed.

VOICE:

Rather youthful and boyish-sounding, as befitting to your average preteen protagonist. Think of Ben Diskin's voice work as the iconic Blue Bomber in Mega Man 11.

FEATURES:

To be very frank, you would not be able to tell if he was a robot from his appearance alone! This basically means that Rock can easily pass off as a regular human boy unless one is able to detect him as otherwise. Not that it matters, given you know ... this is Route 666, after all. There's bound to be much stranger things out there than just a mere robot boy, right? Right?

Canon Abilities + Skill Set + Regains

Here are the three canon abilities that Rock comes in with upon his arrival at Revan. Do note that this list may be subject to change over time as regains of the rest of his canon abilities can and will happen throughout the game:

Mega Buster

His main weapon of choice. Rock can transform his arm into a cannon that can shoot out solar energy bullets, and can be charged for much stronger power shots.

Weapon Copy System

A Copy Chip that has been integrated into Rock's combat system. This helps him scan in information as gathered from whoever he touches, letting him replicate that person's ability. However, he can only copy one ability per person, and more information about wanting to opt-in for such an interaction with him can be seen in this link here.

Typical Robot Endurance

Being a robot, Rock can take a shocking amount of punishment for someone his stature, which is especially advantageous whenever he goes out exploring uncharted territory or fighting bad guys.

Rush (OBTAINED 05.12.2026)

A support robot that serves as Rock's companion animal whenever he goes out on missions. He is a robotic dog that can transform into the Rush Jet for fast and convenient transport, and can serve as a really good scout whenever Rock is out on his own or with other allies through the Rush Search. A Major Regain that has been obtained through the game's AC Rewards system.

Beginning / Starting Monster Traits

Upon having his application accepted into Route 666, Rock has recently been assigned to the Celestial Unicorn type.

For his first six starting traits, his transformation would initially start off as pretty normal. Or at least by Drifter standards, that is. Don't worry, it will only get worse from there, Rock!

Aether Magic | Aether Shine

Can create and control light, and form attacks and shields out of shining aether. Access to light manipulation in the form of shimmering and glittery projections. Can slightly brighten dark spaces just enough to see. Can also form these lights into sharp projectile spells.

Guardian Compulsion

Driven to protect a person or a place. Also drawn to kindness, nobility, or similar expressions of purity, and driven to protect them.

Cleansing Magic | Pure State

Can quickly shed dirt, minor hurts, etc from themselves, an object, or a willing person. With expended energy can heal major damage (cuts, broken bones, etc) or illness. Can also heal poisons and disease, and purify food.

Unicorn Horn

Long horn growing from the center of the forehead, glows when using magic.

Unicorn Hooves

Hooves, either horse-like or cloven. Remarkably tough.

Leonine Tail + Other Unicorn Traits

Horse tail or leonine tail. And partial animal features; changed ears, nose, etc.

Upcoming / Future Monster Traits

It really does get worse from there, now doesn't it, Rock?

Here are the monster traits that I plan on unlocking in the near future, as I plan on making his transformation progressively worse throughout the entire game. Do keep in mind that this list will update over time as I begin coming up with more traits to purchase out from the AC Rewards section:

Painful Shifting (ACTIVE; AWAKENED 04.08.2026, OBTAINED 05.12.2026)

When activating monster traits, the process is agonizing. A Zoanthrope trait.

Scale / Spine / Bone Growth (ACTIVE; OBTAINED 05.12.2026)

Scales, spines, or other bone growth along body. May also appear in the form of visible bones or skull. An Infernal trait.

Extra Eyes (ACTIVE; OBTAINED 05.12.2026)

Extra eyes, can be on face or elsewhere on the body. A Celestial trait.

Equine Shift (ACTIVE; OBTAINED 05.12.2026)

Can shift into fully equine form and back. A Celestial trait.

White Hair (INACTIVE)

Hair turns bright iridescent and glowing white. Can also grow in a mane that is horse or lion-like, and glows when using magic. A Celestial trait.

Feathers / Scales (INACTIVE)

Feathers growing along body, or multicolored scales like a fish or reptile. A Celestial trait.

Music Affinity (INACTIVE)

Affinity for music which can be generated from horn. May invoke either feelings of peace or rage in both the player or the listener. A Celestial trait.

Swift Stride (INACTIVE)

Can move at a dashing speed for long periods and easily keep pace with motor vehicles. A Celestial trait.

Doom Sense (INACTIVE)

Able to tell when someone close to them is in peril, and how close the peril is. Usually the sense begins as a general sense of vague anxiety, but as the danger becomes more imminent more details become clear. An Infernal trait.

Blood Draw (INACTIVE)

Sharp teeth and claws capable of drawing blood and conducting magic/elements. A Yokai trait.

Phantom Fire Magic (INACTIVE)

Produce ghostly flames to illuminate area or shield a person. These flames do not generate heat or burn, but can become true fire with effort. A Yokai trait.

Telekinesis (INACTIVE)

Limited telekinesis on inanimate objects. Can lift anything equal to their physical strength, and control it with movement of paws/hands/tails. A Yokai trait.

Copied Opt-In Abilities

Home with friends and family isn't the only place and time Rock can take advantage of the Weapon Copy System. In fact, Revan is a place where Rock can copy off of anyone who has OOCly given him permission to do so through his General Permissions + Opt-In Post as linked here!

If you would like to have your character opt-in, please comment below that post (as in, not here!) on which ability you would like to be copied to Rock! Keep in mind that this list will be subject to several changes over the course of the game due to how his Copy Chip works by nature:

Ashen Flicker (OBTAINED 04.09.2026)

An Infernal-based ability that has been copied off of Donatello Hamato. Rock can easily materialize flaming embers from the deepest depths of hell, and can manipulate it through sheer will alone.

Monitor Shift (OBTAINED 05.14.2026)

A light-based Overlord ability that has been copied off of Vox. Rock can combine the powers of light projection and electricity to form barriers, weapons, and even platforms out of holograms for either offensive or defensive purposes.

IN CHARACTER

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Rock would be very surprised if you were to initiate a hug on him, but go right ahead if I ever give you the OK for it! Kissing, however, will be judged on case-by-case based on the character doing it. A kiss on the cheek or on the forehead is fine, but the lips is off-limits!
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Rock can take a significant amount of punishment given his status as a super fighting combat robot, but do ask me for the OK on what you are planning to do before you start!
RELATIONSHIPS: Naturally, Rock is a very polite and cordial robot, so he'll actively go out his way to befriend as many people as he can! Unless that character is a jerk, that is. I will give the OK to friendships, a case-by-case basis to queer-platonic relationships, and a no to romantic relationships.
PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: Rock will most likely be a tad wary if one plans to get into his head. Given his previous experiences of the corrupted mind on both his end and his siblings', Rock will be more than willing to object to such an attempt on him. I would recommend asking for permission before initiating the mind-reading on him, though!
MAGICAL INFORMATION: Not magic, mind you, but Rock has the ability to shift between his regular civilian mode and his armored combat mode! He also has the Weapon Copy System directly integrated into his frame, which allows him to copy off other characters' abilities with a simple touch of the hand (albeit, only one ability per person) and swap between them at will. Please look into the CHARACTER OPT-IN section if you are planning to opt-in your character for Rock's weapon copying ability as written below! Additionally, Rock can freely transform one of his hands into the Mega Buster, his main weapon of choice!
MEDICAL INFORMATION: Rock is a perfectly healthy and strong boy! Currently, he is up-to-date on his repairs, that's for sure!
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: Injustice, unnecessary bloodshed, and wanton cruelty will anger Rock, while corruption / non-consenting brainwashing / mind-control and near-death experiences will frighten him within a snap of the fingers.

CHARACTER OPT-IN

WEAPON COPY SYSTEM: As detailed in the MAGICAL INFORMATION section above, Rock has the integrated ability to copy the abilities of those he touches. However, he can copy only one ability per person and by default, all characters are opt-out of this type of interaction as they would have to be willing / consenting to be copied (either alive or defeated / unconscious / dead) off of.

Additionally, the duration of the copied ability will only last for the entire thread that he is currently in, and he will have to copy off the same ability again in the next thread he's in due to how his Copy Chip works within the comics (in this case, I will either be asking for explicit permission ICly or OOCly if your character has already been opt-in)! If one would like to opt-in for Rock's weapon copying ability, please comment below on which ability you would like Rock to copy off of on that character and describe how exactly it would work within that context!

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

VISUAL: Rock is a 5'1" robot who physically looks and acts like a young human boy. Outside of his armor, Rock has spiky brunette hair and usually wears the typical outfit consisting of a T-shirt, a pair of shorts, and knee-high boots. Basically, Rock is your typical kid hero.
AURAL: Rock has a youthful and boyish flair to his voice, and it especially shines through whenever he is excited or determined to save the day! Strangely, he doesn't seem to have voice crack ... unless you are imagining Ben Diskin's take on the Blue Bomber, that is.
OLFACTORY: He smells very artificial and clean, almost akin to a fragrant shampoo formula after an hour's worth of showering. A closer inspection would earn you the faintest hint of a metallic scent, belying the boy's true nature.
DEMEANOUR: Rock is a courageous, young boy with a strong sense of justice. Having his frame reformatted into one of a combat fighting robot, Rock takes his role as the protector of ever-lasting peace very seriously. However, he is someone who is reluctant to hurt others unless absolutely necessary and will do anything to prevent anything from escalating into unnecessary bloodshed. People who are more than willing to hurt innocents are the subject of Rock's ire, especially if they have proven themselves impossible to reason with. Deep down, Rock is a naive boy who is clearly being affected by the burdens of war and suffering, but he usually tries to hide this particular side of himself in hopes of accomplishing what is absolutely needed by those he cherishes with all his heart.

Canon: Mega Man (Archie Comics)
Canon Point: Post Issue 32, after Rock sacrifices himself in defeating Ra Moon once and for all (he was originally in a dying state upon his arrival to Revan)
Age: Canonically, Rock is ageless due to his status as a robot (as seen in this infamous panel). But to keep in line with the RP rules for Route 666, I’ll be bumping him up to be 14 years old instead!

Backstory: Archie!Rock’s MMKB Miraheze article as seen here! Issues 1-4 (aka the very first arc) start at “Let the Games Begin!” and Issues 29-32 (aka the seventh arc and Rock’s canon pull point for this application) end at “Blackout - The Curse of Ra Moon”, but feel free to read everything on his article if you’re interested!
Personality:
+Default emotional state and temperament: what is your character normally like? What personality do they show to the world, and is this at odds with how they really feel?
Rock is your typical kid hero, but with a slight twist. Rock is a courageous robot who wants to be the change he wants to see in the world, even going as far to place himself at risk to achieve his goals. Being a kid in terms of his programming, Rock has an all-loving naivety and kindness that reflects in his values of wanting to resolve conflicts peacefully and without bloodshed. The world being what it is, Rock holds a lot of emotional baggage from his previous outings, but he still continues to persist knowing that he’ll eventually be able to fight for the ever-lasting peace everyone so desperately needs. There are moments where Rock would be reluctant to take on such an action, especially if he personally believes there are far better solutions in settling the score.
+Motivations and goals: What drives them, in both the long term and the short term? What pushes them to keep going even when things are tough?
He wants to save everyone, and most of all the world. Rock was only a regular housekeeping robot designated in lab assistance when his fellow brothers were reprogrammed against their will, and Rock wanted to bring them back to the light side and stop Dr. Wily from enacting his nefarious plans of taking over the world and sullying Dr. Light’s name in the process. This was initially a short-term goal, but due to the rise of the Emerald Spears and Ra Moon along with the return of his long-lost brother Blues, Rock has become more proactive in wanting to ensure that ever-lasting peace can be achieved with as minimal casualties as possible. Or rather … if possible. Rock has a very wide support system in the form of his friends and family, and fighting for their safety is what keeps him pushing forwards despite everything being against his favor.
+Regrets and fears: What holds them back? What do they want to avoid at all costs?
With his newly-granted abilities as a super fighting combat robot, Rock is afraid of losing himself once more. He knows for a fact that with great power comes great responsibilities. With his desires for a kinder world, Rock will do anything to ensure nobody has to fight to the death. Even with his worst enemies, Rock will attempt to see reason with them and will only defend himself if the person is unwilling to change for the better. With the risks he takes, Rock places a significant burden on himself knowing that being complicit will do harm than good, even if it places himself in great danger. Taking one’s life is something that Rock would only do as a last resort or if forced, and even then it still disturbs Rock down to his very core.
+Breaking points: What can cause them to fly off the handle in rage? Or break down in tears? Or alternately just shuts them down entirely?
Rock absolutely hates injustice and unnecessary bloodshed, especially if the latter can be easily avoided through a simple talk or negotiation. He hates seeing anyone get hurt and will do anything to protect the people that he loves, especially if they happen to be his family. He himself doesn’t like having to inflict pain to reach certain goals, and will always feel guilt in having to hurt others to prevent collateral damage or even death. Additionally, Rock doesn’t like being seen as the lesser or weaker party and will do anything to disprove of such a view.
+Values: What do they admire in themselves or in other people? Do they have any codes or beliefs that they try to uphold?
Rock deeply admires people who have the potential and power to change themselves for the better. As a very adaptable and versatile person, Rock is easy to cooperate with if one is willing to extend the same kindness and reasonableness he does for them. Rock at heart is one who is willing to fight for what is right in order to uphold justice and fairness in the world. Rock hates having to play dirty and is rather disdainful of people who are willing to use their abilities to harm others, and is more than willing to not pull any of his punches if he knows they are capable enough of handling his strength. Rock is also someone who deeply adheres to the “ask first, fight later” mindset due to his personal beliefs in wanting to settle conflict as soon as it happens and as cleanly if possible.
+How do they handle change and trauma? Specifically the changes and trauma of turning into a monster?
Oh boy. Given his previous experiences of corruption on his end or on Dr. Wily’s end, Rock is outright terrified of becoming his worst possible self. He knows that wielding such great power can change one for the worse if one isn’t careful with how they use it, and Rock literally had to be imprisoned (albeit, temporarily) due to the catharsis and power high getting to his head. Contracting a computer virus from Dr. Willy’s first set of personal Robot Masters didn’t do him much favors either, as it completely managed to corrupt him and it took a timely intervention from his fellow siblings to restore him to his original state. Dying, or at least being on the limbo of such a state, won’t do him much better, especially if it’s the only way to take the risk in saving everyone from being harmed by greater forces of evil and injustice. Transforming into a monster is no exception, and Rock will be more than open to express his absolute fear of becoming the very things he swore to destroy!
+Closing statements: Anything else you wish to add or sum up?
TLDR: Rock is a kind-hearted and naive robot who wants to see the best out of everyone in hopes of keeping his closest friends and family safe from danger. He fights for justice despite the amount of emotional baggage that he has to carry along the way, some of which includes his own worries, hardships, burdens, and most of all … his own personal traumas. However, Rock doesn’t let those experiences knock him down for the worse as he is more than willing to search for the best of both worlds in hopes of reducing the amount of blood being shed during the world’s darkest hour.

Powers/Abilities: Weapon Copy System (Rock has the ability to copy other Robot Master’s abilities upon touching them, which will then be integrated into his systems for later use; for now, Rock will not come in with any ability copied), Mega Buster ability (this has become a natural part of his systems since his conversion to a combat robot, and he can freely transform his arm into a weapon and charge it for stronger blasts if needed), typical robot endurance (Rock can take a shocking amount of punishment whenever he’s out fighting or exploring uncharted territory given that he is a robot after all)
Inventory: His regular power armor (he usually transforms into this whenever he goes out on missions and he does arrive to Revan in this suit by default), his casual clothes (he usually is in this outfit whenever he is outside of his armor or not in an ongoing mission), his Mega Buster cannon (this is integrated into his combat robot systems and he can freely transform one of his hands into it by will)
Game Plans: I want to give this child as much trauma as possible. I’m (partially) kidding, of course, but in all honesty I personally believe that Rock is a very versatile character when it comes to meeting new characters and encountering never-seen-before scenarios. I think Route 666 would serve as an engaging challenge on how Rock would be able to conquer his fears and hardships given his current pull point (he did have a near-death experience courtesy to Ra Moon, after all!). It would also be very cool on how Rock would deal with his transformation and how to navigate a world as cruel and horrifying as Revan with his new-found friends on his side (it helps that I have a very good friend to bounce off of here like in a previous DWRP game I’ve been in beforehand!).
Monster Choice:
+ Unicorn (Rock is a very kind and gentle soul who genuinely wants to see reason and the best out of everyone. He’s also very protective of his friends and family, so being a horned honse would suit him very well!)
+ Cerberus (Rock is naturally very protective of the people he loves, hence why I personally chose this monster for him. The extra eyes that he can get is also a huge plus for a body horror lover like me, and I think him dealing with that is tragically terrifying in a sense.)
+ Nekomata (Rock has the ability to copy other characters’ abilities, so that monster’s ability to conjure illusions is pretty much reminiscent of such an ability. I also think it would be very horrifying if a robot suddenly began to crave the taste of flesh and blood, and Rock has experienced being corrupted before!)
Vehicle Choice: The Yamaha Niken uwu. I think a boy like Rock would like to have a fast-paced motorbike that can help him drive past both enemies and obstacles alike. Said motorbike would be amazing in getting him over to places that he usually wouldn’t be able to reach on his own too! Fast and versatile’s the name!
